The churches must remain tax-exempt because the churches are different from other things we see,so when it happens ,I can considering it as the way to fight against churches.
We really need a government control over religious management of money. Clear Audits and freedom in investment. Churches conduct some charity activities that requires money. They have a wide range of employee that needs to get paid and insured. All this is money related.
I oppose the motion. Religion is part of the culture though nowadays it feels like it has grown attention into a business but it remains a culture-related activity. Condemning them to pay taxes means that now it will considered as an investment opportunity (which does mean that I deny the fact that some consider this as an investment).
